Attending bartending school in Brooklyn, NY can be a fun and rewarding experience. Learning to bartend professionally requires hands-on training behind a
real bar from a qualified trainer. Bartending is a vocational career that cannot be learned by reading a book or watching a video. There is no
substitute for experience.
Most quality bartending schools offer a course that is at least 32 hours long. Three quarters of that time should be dedicated to letting the student
practice what they have learned behind an actual bar under the close supervision of a licensed instructor.
For the mobile bartenders, get ready for a busy year as well. It is projected that the wedding budgets will increase by 20% in 2011 and the wedding season will be even busier than the past 2 years. It is also anticipated that people will begin to entertain in their homes more often and will rely on the service of a professional bartender to serve their guests. Imagine working private parties or weddings on the weekends alone and earning and extra $2,000.00 – $3,000.00 per month!
